Finance Manager – law firm - Dublin

The Role
This is a key hire within the finance team, supporting the wider business on financial performance, reporting, and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with partners and senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on all financial matters while also leading and developing a small team.

Key Responsibilities

·      Partnering with senior stakeholders to drive financial performance and improve profitability

·      Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes

·      Managing billing, cash flow, WIP, and debt collection metrics

·      Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements

·      Preparing business cases and supporting strategic decision-making

·      Liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners

·      Leading, mentoring, and developing the local finance team

·      Continuously improving financial processes and reporting



About You

·      Qualified accountant with relevant experience (professional services experience is a plus)

·      Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills

·      Experience in financial reporting, controls, and team leadership

·      Comfortable working in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment

·      Systems experience (e.g. SAP, Power BI, Concur) beneficial
