We are partnering with a leading global organisation to appoint an experienced Head of Tax to lead its internal tax function in Ireland. This is a senior, high-impact role reporting directly to the COO, with responsibility for overseeing all internal tax compliance, governance and risk management across the organisation. The role offers flexible hybrid working, with the option to be based in Dublin or Cork. The Role You will lead end-to-end tax compliance across Employment Taxes & Mobility, VAT, Corporation Tax and Partnership Tax. Acting as the primary point of contact with Irish Revenue and other tax authorities, you will manage audits, ensure timely and accurate filings, and maintain the highest standards of compliance. Working closely with finance, legal and specialist tax teams, you will provide strategic tax guidance, identify and mitigate tax risks, and support the wider business with practical, commercially focused advice. The role also has a strong transformation element, leading the development and implementation of tax technology and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. You will play a key role in shaping tax policy, delivering internal training and collaborating with tax teams across the organisation’s international network to align best practices globally. The Ideal Candidate You will have 8–10+ years’ experience in tax compliance and advisory roles, with deep knowledge of Irish tax legislation. Experience managing tax matters for partnerships or similarly complex organisations is essential, along with strong expertise across VAT, employment taxes and corporation tax.
