Finance Assistant (12 month contract) - International Organisation - Dublin

We are working closely with a leading international organisation, in central Dublin, that is looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join its Finance team on a 12-month contract, with a hybrid working option.


This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects of finance in a dynamic and growing firm.


Key Responsibilities:

•      Billing: Process invoices, ensure accurate VAT recording, reconcile WIP/AR, and manage billing queries.

•      Accounts Payable: Prepare payment runs, reconcile supplier accounts, process invoices and expenses, and manage intercompany reconciliations.

•      Banking: Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations, post receipts/payments, and verify new payees.


Requirements:

•      3+ years’ experience in a Finance/Accounts Assistant role, covering AP, Billing, and Banking.

•      Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential).

•      Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.

•      Ability to work independently and within a team.

•      Law firm experience is an advantage but not essential.
