Head of Finance – Payments – Global Business, Dublin
We are recruiting for a Head of Finance on behalf of a global leader in the payments industry. This crucial leadership role will drive the financial strategy, governance and operational performance of the business while supporting their growth plans.
The successful candidate will oversee all financial operations, including strategic planning, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management and compliance. Operating at senior leadership level, you will play a key role in supporting the CEO, Board and wider team with financial insights, strategic advice and high-quality reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting, including forecasting and annual statutory accounts
- Ensure accurate, timely and compliant reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage financial risk, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and governance requirements while maintaining effective internal controls
- Provide strategic financial advice to support business decisions and future growth planning
- Act as the primary point of contact for auditors and the CEO for all high-level financial matters
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and maintain strong external relationships with auditors, financial institutions and other partners Contribute to organisational strategy and development as part of the leadership team
The ideal candidate:
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive post-qualification and leadership experience
- Holds a degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline
- Proven track record in financial leadership, strategic planning and sound decision-making
- Strong analytical skills, with a solid understanding of financial principles
- Experience in the payments industry is highly desirable.
