Head of Business Development (Director Level) - Ireland
On behalf of a global organisation with ambitious expansion plans in Ireland, we are seeking a Head of Business Development to drive business growth, shape the BD strategy, and ensure revenue targets are met. This newly created role requires a senior leader with 15-20 years of experience in sales-focused positions and strong commercial credentials. The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the annual BD strategy to support growth objectives.
• Lead the sales strategy in partnership with the leadership team and lines of business.
• Promote a culture of sales excellence, driving revenue maximisation and opportunity conversions.
• Lead and expand a high-performing team and oversee client pitches.
• Instil best practices in business development, leveraging global resources and ensure strong collaboration between teams.
• Implement a data-driven approach to BD reporting and planning.
Skills & Experience:
• 12+ years in senior business development, sales, or client-facing roles, preferably in professional services.
• Proven ability to develop and execute BD strategies with measurable results.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
• Analytical mindset with a metrics-focused approach.
